Inter-Census Population Survey (SUPAS) to estimate population size and demographic indicators between the two time census. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) has four times to SUPAS, namely 1976, 1985, 1995, and 2005. SUPAS2015 a fifth SUPAS implemented BPS. SUPAS2015 collect demographic data include: description of the subject population, the elderly, births, deaths, maternal deaths, migration, employment, housing facilities, and added information on: international migration, climate change, and disability. SUPAS2015 activity began in 2013, namely the preparation of a series of questionnaires and manuals. The questionnaire and the manual has been compiled through various discussions and workshops, taking into account input from the user data and demographic experts. In 2014 SUPAS2015 trials have been conducted in three provinces: West Sumatra Province (city of Padang); Yogyakarta (Bantul); and North Sulawesi (Manado). The trial SUPAS2015 implement all phases of the activities to be carried out on SUPAS2015. The activity was carried out to test the draft procedures, working procedures and field management, personnel recruitment, questionnaires, refine the design manuals, data processing programs and various administrative aspects. Results of pilot activities SUPAS2015 be evaluated and materials brought in a series of discussions, workshops, and seminars attended by data users and experts population. The activity is intended to enhance metedologi, questionnaires, manuals, processing, and dissemination of results SUPAS2015. SUPAS2015 field activities conducted during the period of May 1-31 2015 is to begin by updating household and sorting the samples followed by the enumeration to selected households, for the sample areas throughout Indonesia.
SUPAS2015 aims to: Estimating the amount, distribution and composition of the population, provide data for calculating the parameters of fertility, covering the total fertility rate (TFR), the crude birth rate (CBR), the ratio of the mother-child (CWR), the birth rate by age group (ASFR) etc., provide data for calculating the parameters of migration, including the migration lifetime, migration risen, international migration, circular migration, etc., provide the data for calculating the parameters mortality, covering the crude mortality rate (CDR), the infant mortality rate (IMR), child mortality (CMR), and the maternal mortality rate (MMRatio), Renewed population projections that had been developed previously, provide data that can be used for planning and evaluation of government programs, provide data characteristics of the population. SUPAS2015 implemented throughout Indonesia. The number of samples covered 40 750 census blocks is the number of households by 652,000. SUPAS2015 population enumeration on the activities carried out by the de jure and de facto. The concept of de jure is used to record a person usually resides / reside (usual residence). Residents who live permanently enumerated where they normally reside. Residents who are traveling 6 months or more, or who has been in a shelter for six months, enumerated where they lived at the time of enumeration. Residents who occupied the house contract / lease (annual / monthly) is considered as residents who live permanently. The concept of de facto used to record the population in which encountered during enumeration (overnight stay). Schedule SUPAS2015 field activity was during the month of May 2015.
