Margo Yuwono, New Head of BPS Jakarta - History has been engraved again for BPS. It was recorded that since today (25/6), the number one person in the institution authorized to collect basic statistics was determined through Presidential Decree No. 79 of 2021. Conducted virtually, the Minister of National Development Planning, Suharso Monoarfa, officially inaugurated Margo Yuwono as Head of BPS. Margo, who previously served as Principal Secretary, replaced Kecuk Suhariyanto. Kecuk ended his service as head of BPS because he had entered his retirement period. The inauguration which took place in strict adherence to health protocols was witnessed by the selection committee, members of the DPR, K/L leaders, and all BPS employees through the Youtube channel.
