Tuesday, 19 July 2022, BPS Trenggalek Regency held an offline training for the August 2022 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) officer at the Hayam Wuruk Hotel. The training was held for 2 days, from July 19, 2022 to July 20, 2022.
The training was opened by the Head of BPS for Trenggalek Regency, Joko Santoso, SE, M.Sc. In his speech he explained about the importance of Sakernas data and the indicators generated from the Sakernas data. In addition, he also motivated the officers to always work as much as possible while still paying attention to health protocols even though the COVID-19 case had been sloping.
SAKERNAS (National Labor Force Survey) is a routine semi-annual survey conducted by BPS. It is carried out in February for National/Provincial estimation figures and in August for estimated figures up to Regency/City level. The general objective of the August 2022 Sakernas data collection is to provide sustainable basic employment data. Specifically, it aims to obtain estimated data on the number of working people, the number of unemployed, and other employment indicators. In addition, Sakernas August 2022 has a specific purpose to collect information related to the impact of COVID-19 on Indonesian employment.
Hopefully, through the training that has been attended by all participants, the August 2022 Sakernas enumeration can be carried out well and produce quality data for Advanced Indonesia.
