Briefing on the Use of the FASIH Application for the 2024 Rice Tiles Survey

BPS Trenggalek Regency held a Briefing on the Use of the FASIH Application for the 2024 Ubinan Survey. Ubinan is a way to measure the productivity of food crops that are still on the land through sampling, measuring and weighing. The scope of tile activities is the food crop subsector which includes rice crops (lowland rice & field rice) as well as secondary crops (corn, tubers and beans).

Starting in 2024, there will be a change in the mode of data collection, namely from Paper and Pencil Interviewing (PAPI) to Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) with the FASIH application.

Ubinan is one of BPS's routine activities which is carried out every harvest period which is divided into 3 sub-rounds (January-April, May-August, September-December) with samples spread across all sub-districts in Trenggalek Regency.

It is hoped that this methodology migration can increase the speed and accuracy of data in the field.
