At the Trenggalek Regency Government Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) Meeting led by the Assistant for Economics and Development and several heads of related departments, the Head of BPS Trenggalek Regency was present and provided material on calculating the Price Change Indicator (IPH) in the fourth week of July 2024.

The IPH calculation is carried out by BPS where the calculation components include the results of daily observations of the prices of 20 food group commodities and weights derived from public food expenditure.

Providing this material is a form of collaboration between BPS Trenggalek Regency and the Trenggalek Regency Government to provide explanations, both the formulation and interpretation of IPH data and what steps are needed to anticipate price changes, especially increases and decreases in prices of food group commodities.
