Monday (21/1), a Trenggalek One Data coordination meeting was held regarding the 2024 Sectoral Statistics Implementation Review (EPSS) in the Trenggalek Regency Regional Secretary's Room.
EPSS is a systematic assessment process that involves verification and validation of information on self-assessment results. The aim is to measure the level of maturity in implementing sectoral statistics in government agencies, both at the central and regional levels.
This meeting was attended by the Trenggalek Regency Regional Secretary, the Head of the Trenggalek Regency BPS, the Head of the Trenggalek Regency Communication and Information Service, as well as representatives of the Trenggalek Regency Bappedalitbang as the Trenggalek Regency One Data Coordinator.
On this occasion, the Head of BPS Trenggalek Regency also submitted a Letter of Recommendation for Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics for Trenggalek Regency in 2024 to the Regional Secretary of Trenggalek Regency in the Regional Secretary Room of Trenggalek Regency directly. This recommendation letter contains the results of an evaluation of the implementation of sectoral statistics in the region. The result of EPSS is the Statistical Development Index (IPS) value. In 2024, the Trenggalek Regency Government will receive an IPS score of 2.59 or the "Fair" category.
As a preparation strategy for the 2025 EPSS, regular meetings will be held focused on developing and fulfilling supporting evidence for each EPSS indicator. During the meeting, an evaluation was also carried out regarding the lack of supporting evidence that had been submitted by the Independent Assessment Team (TPI) during the previous implementation.
With good coordination, it is hoped that the implementation of the 2025 EPSS can run smoothly and provide better results.
