Visits of Foreign Tourists (Wisman) who came to East Java through the entrance of Juanda in February 2019 increased by 23.48 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting in January, from 14,222 visits to 17,561 visits.
    The number of foreign tourist visits in February 2019 fell by 10.50 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists in the same period in 2018 which reached 19,621 visits.
    Most foreign tourists from Malaysia reached 5,953 visits, up 56.74 percent, followed by Singapore nationalities as many as 2011 visits, up by 46.15 percent and Chinese nationality with 1,771 visits, up 13.16 percent compared to January 2019.
    The room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in East Java in February 2019 reached 52.65 percent, up 1.13 points compared to the previous month. ROR for 4 (four) star hotels of 60.42 percent is the highest TPK compared to other star-rated hotels.
    Average Length of Stay of guests (RLMT) in star-rated hotels in February 2019 reached 3.10 or down 0.18 points compared to January which reached 3.28 days. For the overall RLMT in February 2019 it was 1.83 days, down 0.39 points compared to January which reached 3.22 days.
