Abstract

Jawa Timur Economy Quarter III-2019 as measured by Gross Regional Domestial Product (GRDP) at current prices reaches Rp 607.05 trillion, while GDP at constant prices reaches Rp 425.01 trillion.
Economy of Jawa Timur Quarter III-2019 when compared to Quarter III-2018 (y-on-y) grew by 5.32 percent. From the production side, the highest growth occurred in the Education Services Business Sector at 8.79 percent, followed by Health Services and Social Activities at 8.45 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth in the PMTB Component was 5.11 percent, followed by Household Consumption Expenditures 4.76 percent, and Government Consumption Expenditures 4.05 percent.
In q-to-q Jawa Timur economy Quarter III-2019 grew 3.52 percent. From the production side, the highest growth occurred in the Construction Business Field by 6.12 percent, followed by Education Services by 5.13 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was the Government Consumption Expenditure Component of 10.86 percent, followed by the formation of Gross Fixed Capital of 5.10 percent and Foreign Exports of 3.02 percent.
The economy of Jawa Timur until Quarter III-2019 (c-to-c) grew 5.52 percent. From the production side, the highest growth occurred in the Health Services and Social Activities Business Field at 7.88 percent, followed by the Provision of Accommodation and Food and Drink at 7.45 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, it was mainly driven by the LNPRT Consumption Expenditure Component which grew by 7.36 percent, followed by Government Expenditures 5.06 percent and Household Consumption Expenses 4.84 percent.
