Abstract

  • East Java's Fisherman Exchange Rate (NTN) in December 2019 decreased 0.76 percent from 125.84 in November 2019 to 124.89 in December 2019. This increase was due to the price index paid by fishermen to rise by 0.77 percent, while the price index received by fishermen only rose by 0.004 percent.
  • The development of NTN in December 2019 towards December 2018 (calendar year) at the same time (year-on-year) decreased by 0.95 percent.
  • Of the six provinces in Java that calculated NTN in December 2019, two provinces experienced an increase in NTN and four provinces experienced a decrease in NTN. The increase in NTN occurred in Central Java Province by 0.86 percent, and Banten Province by 0.23 percent. The provinces that experienced a decline in NTN were West Java by 0.05 percent, D.I. Yogyakarta fell by 0.13 percent, East Java Province 0.76 percent, and DKI Jakarta Province by 0.94 percent.
