Abstract

The export value of Jawa Timur in April 2021 reached USD 1.94 billion or decreased by 3.16 percent compared to March 2021. This value compared to April 2020 actually increased by 42.05 percent.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in April 2021 reached USD 1.76 billion or decreased by 4.31 percent compared to March 2021. This value compared to April 2020 increased by 28.96 percent.
  • Oil and gas exports in April 2021 reached USD 179.92 million, an increase of 9.72 percent compared to March 2021. This value increased by 26,985.51 percent when compared to April 2020.
  • The main categories of non-oil and gas export goods in April 2021 were Animal / Vegetable Fats and Oils (HS 15) with a value of USD 156.50 million, followed by Timber and Wood Products (HS 44) with a value of USD 140.38 million, and Copper (HS 74) with a value of USD 130.06 million.
  • Cumulatively, during January - April 2021, exports out of Jawa Timur amounted to USD 7.18 billion, an increase of 0.62 percent compared to January - April 2020.
  • The largest export destination country in January - April 2021 was Japan which reached USD 1.04 billion (with a role of 16.07 percent) followed by exports to the United States amounting to USD 1.03 billion (with a role of 15.91 percent) and to China amounting to USD. 825.84 million (with a role of 12.72 percent). Non-oil and gas exports to the ASEAN region reached USD 1.18 billion (with a contribution of 18.16 percent), while non-oil and gas exports to the European Union amounted to USD 583.83 million (with a contribution of 8.99 percent).
