Abstract

The economy of Trenggalek Regency in 2023, measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on the basis of current prices, reached IDR 22,740.05 billion, while GDP on the basis of constant prices reached IDR 14,212.06 billion

The economy of Trenggalek Regency in 2023 compared to 2022 grew by 4.92 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Transportation & Warehousing Business Field by 10.14 percent, followed by Other Services and Accommodation & Food & Drink. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the LNPRT Consumption Expenditure Component of 10.08 percent.

Trenggalek's economic structure in 2023 in 2022 is still dominated by Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Business Fields at 25.98 percent, followed by the Processing Industry at 18.51 percent, Wholesale Trade and Retail; Car and Motorcycle Repair by 16.14 percent, Construction by 7.05 percent, and Mining and Quarrying by 5.82 percent. The role of these five business fields in the economy of Trenggalek Regency reached 73.50 percent.
