Increasing of Human Development Index in Trenggalek 2024

Based on data released from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) which was released last December 2, the Trenggalek Human Development Index in 2024 managed to reach 72.47. This achievement increased by 0.51 points or 0.71% compared to last year's figure of 71.96. Since 2020, Trenggalek's HDI has consistently been at a "high" level, proving that this area continues to develop rapidly. In fact, the average HDI growth during 2021-2024 was recorded at 0.971% per year.

1. Improved Health

Babies born in Trenggalek this year are predicted to have a life expectancy of up to 75.35 years, an increase of 0.19 years compared to last year. This is a sign that health services are getting better and people are increasingly aware of the importance of maintaining health.

2. Education is a priority

Expected Years of Schooling (HLS) for children aged 7 years has now reached 12.63 years, while Average Years of Schooling (RLS) for people aged 25 years and over has risen to 7.92 years. This shows that more and more Trenggalek people are pursuing higher education.

3. Better Living Standards

Real expenditure per capita increased by 407 thousand rupiah (3.89%) to Rp. 10.87 million per year. This figure shows that people's purchasing power is increasing.
