Abstract

• East Java Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) in November 2020 increased by 0.04 percent from 100.50 to 100.54. The increase in NTP was due to the increase in the price index received by farmers (It) by 0.62, which was higher than the price index paid by farmers (Ib) which was only 0.58.

 • In November 2020, two agricultural sub-sectors experienced an increase in NTP, two sub-sectors experienced a decline and one sub-sector remained stable. The subsector that experienced the largest increase in NTP occurred in the Horticulture sub-sector, namely 3.13 percent from 92.79 to 95.70, and the Animal Husbandry sub-sector by 0.59 percent from 98.43 to 99.01. The sub-sector that experienced a decline in NTP was the Food Crops sub-sector by 0.70 percent from 103.40 to 102.68, followed by the Smallholder Plantation sub-sector by 0.31 percent from 98.37 to 98.07. Meanwhile, the fisheries sub-sector remained stable with an NTP of 97.69.

 • Of the five provinces in Java Island that calculated their NTP in November 2020, two provinces experienced an increase in NTP, two provinces experienced a decrease, and one province remained stable. The largest increase in NTP occurred in Central Java Province with 0.11 percent, followed by East Java Province with 0.04 percent. The province that experienced a decrease in NTP was Yogyakarta Special Region Province by 0.46 percent, followed by West Java Province by 0.20 percent. Meanwhile, Banten Province remained stable with an NTP of 100.82.
